چکیده
• Effects of MMT-NC/ESP hybrid fillers on jute/coir/polyester composites were studied. Absorption behaviors under dry, river and sea water conditions analyzed. Adding to reduced their moisture absorption rates. Mechanical behaviours the slightly decreased at wet conditions. Samples with equal 1.5 wt% MMT-NC ESP exhibited optimum properties. In this work, synergistic impact fibers mechanical, morphological properties polyester matrix dry was examined. The composite laminates fabricated by compression molding technique, using new combinations jute coir as primary reinforcements well waste eggshell powder (ESP) montmorillonite nanoclay (MMTK10-NC) secondary in a matrix. fillers, NC added fiber blended different amounts. Maximum tensile strengths estimated be 24.57, 21.77 22.63 MPa when weight percent (wt.%) for (wet) conditions, respectively. Under same flexural 46.97, 44.85 42.36 2.697, 2.572 2.607 J obtained, Occurrence swelling, agglomeration porosity observed crucial factors, which caused strength reduction. It evident from results obtained that addition proportions increased mechanical performances higher than non-filler composites. diminished condition, due deterioration between interface. Also, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images indicated it weak fiber–matrix adhesion. With filler composites, rate reduced. Importantly, optimal/best sample S4 content can used an alternative sustainable material low load bearing structural components building construction industries, such trusses frames, wooden flooring scaffold.

Hybrid fiber reinforced concrete (HFRC) consisting of two or more different types of fibers has been widely investigated because of its superior mechanical properties. In the present study, the effect of the addition of steel (0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75%, and 1% of concrete volume) and Polypropylene (0.2%, 0.4%, and 0.6% of concrete volume) fibers on the surface scaling resistance of concrete, depth of ...

Brittleness, which was the inherent weakness in High Strength Concrete (HSC), can be avoided by reinforcing the concrete with discontinuous fibers. Reinforcing HSC with more than one fiber is advantageous in an overall improvement of the mechanical performance of the composite. In this experimental study, Hybrid Fiber Reinforced High Strength Concrete (HyFR-HSC) mixes were formed by blending si...

The inert and oxidative flash pyrolysis of High Density Poly-Ethylene (HDPE) is studied 6 up to 20 000 K.s, under pressure up to 3.0 MPa and at temperature ranging from 1000 K to 7 1500 K. These conditions are considered to represent those waited onboard a hybrid rocket 8 engine using HDPE as solid fuel. Recycling applications may also find some interest. The 9 pyrolysis products are quantified...
متن کاملHigh Density Polyethylene Composites Reinforced with Hybrid Inorganic Fillers: Morphology, Mechanical and Thermal Expansion Performance
The effect of individual and combined talc and glass fibers (GFs) on mechanical and thermal expansion performance of the filled high density polyethylene (HDPE) composites was studied. Several published models were adapted to fit the measured tensile modulus and strength of various composite systems. It was shown that the use of silane-modified GFs had a much larger effect in improving mechanic...
